How We Found Our Way: It has been one amazing journey since that 1st Day of March in 1999. Amanda Gallagher opened her doors as a franchise with Buffalo's Cafe. She decided on a restaurant while living in Atlanta, Ga., and thought Murfreesboro was a great spot. As you all know, we get bored easily, so after 2 years as Buffalos, we thought we were in need of a change. SO, literally, overnight; Coconut Bay Cafe was born. We opened Coconut Bay Cafe with intentions on giving Murfreesboro a taste of the tropics! A Beach-Themed, tropical paradise to make you feel like a "Vacation Away From Home." Thus, we have succeeded! Coconut Bay strives on giving back to the community by helping with local school & charities of all kinds and once again, this has been a great success! Ms. Gallagher says "We always want to be a place that gives, the world is changing so quickly that small towns across the world need places like this." Our biggest charity is The American Cancer Society. We have raised over $35,000, and will continue to do so. Coconut Bay is not only family friendly, but a place where EVERYONE is a Rockstar! We give away cruises, host Hawaiian Tropic Model Searches, hold one of the Largest Bike Nights in Tn.all summer long with Poppaclutch. We have everything from Pool Tables, Darts, Beer Pong, Live Bands, Karaoke and over 60 Tv's for all you Sports Fanatics. You decide..this place we call home, sets us apart from any. This is where "Work Hard, Play Harder" comes into play! This is something our staff & Management firmly believe in and strive on making our patrons feel this way.
